10 years is pretty long time in people years, 7 times longer in cat years, and an age in bar years. So we are very excited (and proud!) to be celebrating AKA's 10th birthday on Thursday 31st July. In true AKA style, the venue will be done up to the nines - this year's theme is 'The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe', so make sure you wear something white or silver. Basement Jaxx will be playing a rare DJ set, plus Gilles Peterson, The Shapeshifters, Jimpster, Fabio, Luke Solomon, Bugged Out's Johnno (spinning a Guilty Pleasures set) and more. Buy tickets here.

This Friday it's House Rules. The house rules crew are a bunch of friends from south London who started throwing parties in the upstairs room of a pub a couple of years ago for friends and friends of friends (and their mates) before it got out of control and they needed a bigger gaff. Just pure good vibes, warm, fresh house music - a proper Friday night. Cheers!
